Dotted around this multifarious terrain from summit to coast we find quirks of nature such as the majestic volcanic edifice of the Caldera de los Marteles or the curious fossil dune field of the Sands of Tufia.
The Barrancos (Ravines) are natural spaces containing ecosystems of remarkable biodiversity, outstanding among which are the Barranco de Los Cernícalos, an idyllic environment through which a natural spring flows all year round, the Campos de Rosiana, the Gamonal and the Barranco Real de Telde, unique settings in which to enjoy outdoor activities.
