There are a variety of festivities which are worth featuring because of their purest and most genuine tradition. The festivities of patron saints St John and St Gregory, of the Most Holy Christ of Telde, of the Sugar Cane in Jinámar, of the Water Bringing in Lomo Magullo, the Great Carnival of Telde, or over the special Christmas period, such as Teldelandia, are among the most popular festivities with the general public and the most exciting.
